The good news is that I've finally found an A3 size sketch book. The price tag? $10. haha. If Popular Marine Parade was thinking that I would actually buy that, they were so wrong. HA!
Editor's Note: The below situation took place sometime last week.
You see, a poor girl like me certainly does mind paying $10 for a not-so-fancy-and-actually-rather-plain-looking-40-page scrap book. Uh huh. Then remembering that Ting Pei was also looking for an A3 sized book, I called her to ask her if she wanted one and I could pass it to her during pai wei (or pw, in that smart ass pei jean's language). So the convo went something like this...
She was like , "OMG??!?!?! $10?!?!?! I don't want to buy!!! I'd rather use drawing block! I think you shouldnt' buy it too!" "Er... ok. So if I see something cheaper, I'll call you again yeah?" "OK!Thanx anyway! =)".
Not willing to be beaten, I embarked on Part II of the noble search of A3 sized scrap books. As that Chi saying goes... the sth like... bu2 fu4 you3 xin1 ren2 (or whatever...), I found a packet of A3 sized paper. The price? $5.50 for 90 sheets. HA! That was it! My search ended there.
I found TP's no on the redial list...
"Hello?" "Hey yeah?" "I found something cheaper! It's a stack of A3 sized paper, so maybe you could bind them together yourself or something... it's $5.50 for 90 sheets" "Oooh... okay." "So do you want me to help you get one first?" "um... which Popular are you at now?" "The Parkway one..." "Actually it's okay. If I want it, I think I can go there myself to get it. Thanks a lot anyway!" "Okay then... Bye!" "Bye!"
And so I happily went back to helping my mum search for P5 and S2 assessment books. =) Editor's Note: She's an English tutor for goodness sake. But no, she doesn't teach me. We quarrel too much for our own good, trust me.
The next situation took place last Fri and Sat. at SC camp.
SC camp totally rawked!!!! I think it really managed to revitalise all the "old" SCs and it made the Sec1s really think that SC is really fun! Which I think it is, most of the time. haha.
The fun activity was the ECP challenge and the tofu escorting thingy. Haha. TOFU RAWKS!!!!! haha. Those who didn't go for the camp must really think I'm a nutter. But I usually am one anyway... haha.
I'm really glad that SC is revamping itself to make it more fun for everyone and to let all of us have a greater role to play in the school. I think that's what most of us want anyway.
All the best to SC!!!!!! =) I LOVE SC!!!!!!!!!!!
And this ends yet another post.
Haven a fun, happy day tomorrow, people! =)
I mumbled to myself not to mumble ever again- 10:59 PM
