nice day
Music- Ono Lisa (You know what? I will marry anyone who buys me the $158 ticket to her Romance Latino Tour in Singapore this Year!!!!!!!)
Well, it's pretty obvious that I want to go so bad, but obviously I can't. I'm seriously wondering if I should dig that sum out from my savings, but I'll be a dreadfully poor girl after that! Argh... SHE'S MY IDOL!!!!!!!!!!
My second goal is to own ALL her CDs. Hee hee... All I have to do is just bring around $100 to gramophone (hey I calculated when I went there last Sunday) and I can buy all her CDs they have there. But then again, the truth hurts *ouch!*... I'm a poor, poor, poor girl.
Sighs deeeeeply.
And there's homework to do!!!!!! Oh man... Btw, has anyone found a A3 size book? I went to SP Popular today, but the closest I could get was drawing block?!?!? So if anyone manages to get one, pls tell me. tnx!
Well, that brings us to the point of me going down to Sing Post today. The Sec 2 CNY games com was supposed to meet at 10 at Macs, but I left the house at 9.40, even though it was only a 5 mins journey there. Of course, I reached there 15 mins early and naturally, those other 2 weren't there yet. Anyway, I walked past Macs, hoping to find a nice cosy spot to discuss our proposal. The place was full!!! I bet Macs was the most crowded place in the whole of SP. haha. In the end, we decided to go to Long John's instead. The interesting thing was that I knew the existence of a Long John's, but I just couldn't remember where. I then decided to walk around outside, but I went the wrong way and I didn't see it! Lol. So I went to look at the signboard. Well, it certainly was on the level I was on, but the only problem was that I wasn't seeing it!!!! Argh. So when the other 2 came, I walked behind. To my great interest and horror, Long John's was just behind Macs. hem hem. I swear my inner self was blushing like mad. How stupid could I ever get?!?!?! argh.
Well, it was 10.05 by the time we sat down with paper and pencil out. Not too bad. We talked and never left the main point for like 2+ hours! Seriously, that's the good thing about working with people you don't really know but who you trust. (accquaintences) Then, feeling dreadfully guilty about borrowing their 2 tables and 3 chairs for 2+ hours, we had lunch there, although their food is generally too salty for my liking. eek. Ting Pei and I then commented on how big their cups were. The nasty thing was that they give like 3 scoopfuls of ice??!?!!? I mean, with that, how much drink do you actually get in the cup?
Oh yeah, and some unlucky fellow toppled his drink right on top of his food while carrying it back to his seat. haha... fries swimming in coke. HAHAHA. oops... I think I'm getting really really really really mean. haha. So anyway, they granted him replacements gracefully. haha.
One interesting observation I made- the people preparing food ( I mean they are hardly chefs or cooks) at Macs seem more normal and friendly than those at Long John's. Maybe that's why their branches are always so quiet.
After that, we went down to NTUC to check out the prices of stuff for Logistics. I called my mum (as I was told) and she made me buy fresh milk, cereal and lunch home. "Great!" I wondered to myself. So there I was, carrying a black tote bag, with paper in one hand and pencil in the other, carrying a box of breakfast cereal and 2 cartons of milk. What a nice thing to do while out with friends. Luckily both of them were graceful enough to accompany me while I paid for the groceries.
Then it was Popular for Ting Pei and I, while the other went to the loo. haha. We discovered it was almost impossible for us to find an A3 size book for the newspaper cuttings, so we deicided on drawing block! haha. And we found cheap wooden pencils, but I later struck them off the logistics list because of budget constraint. sigh.
Well, once again, because of me, it was the food court, where Ting Pei was very helpful (not sarcastic) in telling me what to buy back- good ol` Chicken Rice. haha. Then we were told that someone was sitting on the chair outside Popular. We were said to be blind (oh whatever) so we went to check that person out... haha. This will be of great interest to Minlu. Why?
Well...
We saw AH TIONG.
Seriously!!!
He was all decked up nicely in a yellow shirt and omg... was he sitting so straight up, staring into space. I really dunno what he was doing there, but he couldn't have been meeting minlu right? He would have been wearing that purple shirt! hmm... Hey minlu, maybe he's having an extra-marital affair with someone who likes yellow na dhates purple!!! hahahahas....
Ok so we stood at a distance discussing him before I whipped out my handphone and called home. Sometimes I really feel I live in a mansion. The phone rang for like a zillion years before my mum picked up. I asked her if she could fetch me and she said she was teaching so NO, ASK YOUR FATHER. Then there was silence at the other end and I assumed she was calling my dad to the phone. After an even longer wait, I hung up, called her handphone, but SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! So I called the house phone again and my dad picked up. The comvo went something like this:
"Hey... can you come pick me up from SP?" "Huh... Where?" "SING-A-PORE POST" "Yeah I KNOW... which part?!" "The bus stop." "Can you cross the road?" "No, I'm carrying 2 cartons of fresh milk, a box of breakfast cereal, your lunch and my stuff. You want me to cross over and walk there? NEVER." (for those who have been to SP, he meant crossing over to the industrial estate. Yup. Not joking.) "Ok fine." "Now. " "Yeah." "Ok then. Bye." "Bye."
And the whole time, those 2 were standing, each on one side of me, waiting. I think the wole thing lasted like 7 mins. I swear I was blushing in my inner self again. Ok to cut a long story short, we walked out together, I to the bus stop and they to the train station.
The end of Geneve's Adventures of Sing Post.
Then I went home, reached around 2 + and started work on my proposal, due today, till now. Let me take a deep breath. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Wood's Peppermint Cough Syrup. haha.
alright then... happy hols! =)
I mumbled to myself not to mumble ever again- 8:54 PM
