who knows what
Music- John Lennon and the Plastic Ono band (imagine)
I dunno why but when I saw that MTV on Star World that afternoon, it just somehow got me hooked. Now I wanna get my hands on more of his music. x) haha. Yeah I know... I'm just too retro for my age. haha.
Anyway, I went down to Orchard with my mum that day. Amazingly, the freckle-conscious freak of the family actually got convinced by me to take public transport- the MRT train! haha. Nothing really interesting happened for the entire day, except for 2 events.
1. At City Hall:
I was staring into space (as usual) when I heard a familiar voice having a conversation with a not-so-familiar voice. Well, curiosity got the better (and even though it killed the cat, I can't wait to die xD) of me and I turned around.
There the mystery people were! My mum was talking to a Malay lady. Thinking that my mum had met some old friend, I was immediately very surprised at her ability to FINALLY acknowledge people. x) I leaned closer to listen to their conversation (long-lost friends certainly don't talk about private stuff, do they?)
Lady :" ... Just look at that lady over there!"
Mum :" Oh my!!!"
Lady :" The young people these days certainly don't know what's good for them!" *points eagerly at a nearby young lady sitting on a bench with her bf (i think so)*
Mum :" tsk tsk tsk
Lady :" You know, people in my office have started to wear such things to work nowdays! In fact, we're going to have a uniform soon!"
Mum :" eew... (about that young lade)"
Lady :" Sigh... The youngsters nowdays don't care about their health and well-being! They just follow trends blindly without consideration for their health!"
Mum :" Yeah!"
Lady :" Such things are no good in the long run! Besides... all that indecent exposure... "
Mum :" haha"
Lady :" tsk tsk tsk *shakes head*"
-And the train arrives and we each go into separate compartments-
Are you still wondering what happened really? =) For those who are still scrutinising my words for clues... pls just try harder or give up.
That young lady was wearing hipster jeans and erm... her butt-line was showing rather nicely. I can only think of that name. sry. Lesson learnt- Don't show your humps if you don't have them assets man...
2. At a food court:
Tired after walking (actually only my mum), I was dragged to eat ice kachang at a food court. Argh. btw, I don't like ice kachang. She left a bag of clothes under the table, and you guessed it! We went home without it. Luckily it was only worth $10. Sigh...
Lesson learnt- Bring bigger handbags out when going shopping...
And of course, my dad has finally come back from Australia, the great outback. He bought nothing nice. ARGH. He bought:
1. Nougats
2. Nuts
3. Chocolates (these 3 were are must or my mum would kill him or sth...)
4. Anti-Wrinkle Cream
5. Hand Cream
Now, you may ask... no. 4 &5 ????!?!?!?
Don't ask me. I don't know either. All I know is that the creams were dirt cheap. $5 for 1 and he bought 6 of no. 4.
I have absolutely NO comments.
Goodbye and have a nice day. And wish me good luck with my homework! =) I haven't started.
I mumbled to myself not to mumble ever again- 9:40 PM
