sci fair

Well well well... let me think. Science fair was yesterday! Boy am I glad the presentation is over since we still have tomorrow's booth set-up, next week's prize giving and public exhibition to go. HAH. In case you haven't heard, let me tell you the highlights of the science fair! I HAVE to leave out certain parts in case err I get into trouble with CERTAIN people. Yes, they DO have the power to condemn me to hell. What the HEAVEN. Now, that's a hint, to those who get it. Hah.

Well, when we reached SAJC after a terribly confusing taxi ride (both the driver and teacher were confused. xD), we asked a SAJC student where the main office was and it went sth like this:

CTan: Err excuse me, but do you know where the main office is?
Girl: Err *puts leg down and looks around* I think it's that way *points to her right*, I'm not very sure.
CTan: Okay thanks!

Short but it sure says a lot about the effectiveness of orientation! xD Doesn't it? :) HAH.

Then when we DID manage to find our way to the office, guess what we saw at the entrance?
You'll never guess!!!! :)
POSTCARDS!!!!! YES POSTCARDS!!!!! IN A SCHOOL!!!!!!! SO CONVENIENT!!!!! AHHH!!!
So since it was only ctan, yl, lh and I, we started taking them before ms tan chased us to the hall. haha.

When we got to the hall, we found the whole thing to be so utterly confusing and warm. We all agreed on pitying the people in blazers, ties, stockings and court shoes. haha. we only got ties. Btw, ytd before we left, Edwin asked me a very interesting question. It was sth like this:

Edwin: *I think he was bending up from picking sth from the floor* Hey did you remember to bring your tie today?
Me: ?!?!??! *opens mouth and stares o.0*

I'm sure you get it. I'm sure even Jeanette will. Ooops. haha. sry. :)

Then blah blah blah walking and blah. Then when we reached our presentation room, we were told to wait at the canteen till it was our turn. -____- Cos there are 2 groups, starting at 2.30 and the other at 4. I pity them again. haha. err we were the 2nd group after the I dunno what school group.

The moment I walked in, I was stunned. The 2 judges were male;
one with tied up long lustrous black hair and the other with a cool black-string necklace.
Yes, OMG. You can say that again.

*skips ppt boring details since the bio ppl will know already*

Then Q and A. *skips some more boring details*

The 2 HONOURABLE JUDGES were in fits of laughter between themselves after they asked us why we used distilled water for the plants. EVEN when I was talking. SO POLITE. Gah. But the most interesting thing was the scenario at home with my mum (as usual):

Me: *was telling mum about sci fair ppt and the distilled water*
Mum: OHHHH!!! I KNOW!!!! DISTILLED WATER IS THE ONE WHERE OXYGEN IS REMOVED RIGHT? RIGHT?!?!?!
Dad: *stares at his daughter with wide eyes*
Me: *looks at mum with "convincing smile" that yes, oxygen is removed"
Dad: Err.. the chemical formula of water is H2O.
Mum: I don't know what you're talking about la.
Me: It simply means that water is made up of 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen atom. (TLC is going to be so proud of me!!!! :))
Mum: And SO???!?
Dad: So if you remove the oxygen, you'll be left with only Hydrogen.
Mum: Err I still don't understand.
Me: So in YOUR distilled water, water becomes only hydrogen after being distilled.
Mum: ?!??!?
Me: *walks back to room, exasperated*

That's about it. Amusing? No? Whatever. -.- Well, if you want better, you could ask me about the China currency episode. :D serious!!!

Now where was I? Hmm... aiya nvm. SKIP again.

When we were walking out, I saw a cool sight! I saw this girl driving out of school with all her friends in the car too! Haha and I thought, I'll get my license on my first try when I'm 18!!! Haha. Then the girls and ctan took taxi and left the 2 guys to find their own way haha. Not our fault. Not enough space! *awww...* xD

Sian. Then we were crapping in the taxi throughout. haha. And yl kept forgetting where I stay. I wonder if it's real... Gah.

Then today! Which was very sian anyway. haha.

Haha. DAZU!!! I love dazu!! And I love the fact that I beat Chow Jia Yao by 10 marks for CHINESE TEST!!! Woots! I sill can't believe it really haha. but never mind! (:
