An Outing!
Music- Me and You. Ahh it's stuck in my head!! (:
After HSK today, Grace and I went to bugis macs for lunch. It all started with a simple question:
Me: Hey Grace, are you eating lunch at home?
G: Naa, but I'm going to macs.
Me: Why? No cash? *grins*
G: Sigh. Yah.
Me: Haha... ezlink. *ponders about that horrible money making scheme* Want me to lunch with you?
G: YESYESYES!
Me: Alright then!
G: *smses mum to tell her not to cook for me*
And so, after surviving HSK, we went to bugis. Actually we were thinking of kampong arang, but since we ended early, we decided to go f u r t h e r. yup.
While waiting for 158, we met jefferson. I talked to him about 2nd instru stuff and his accompaniment. Etc. Then we discussed when Forbidden City was and how many ppl actually rmb it. Biollo didn't even tell us anything about it. WTH. How? I think it's this fri or sat...
Lalala. We learnt sth eating there... STUDENT MEAL PRICES ARE UP BY 15cents! How irritating!! It costs $4.10 to have a meal there now! GAH. Stupid macs. grrr.
We talked and talked and walked and walked. Since I was frantically looking for a pair of dress slippers *hint hint*, we went around the whole of bugis looking for shoe shops! Well, the cheap ones looked absolutely *speechless* and there was one I liked, but it was a whooping $99. No mistake. haha.
Anyhow, we popped into kinokuniya and stayed there for a VERY long time. We gawked over the Grimm fairy tales, looked at interesting books, admired the price tags of neil gaiman comics *sigh.* and best of all, GRACE asked me to flip through a book and tell her how smooth it felt. -.-
We went into Seiyu and looked around. We walked at least 3 rounds round the escalator and we ran into meixue, tze lin, yc and gang. Apparantly, yc was the only guy there so I asked him where ** was. He said that he changes ppl everyday and I was o.0. Oh well, that ended the brief meeting after I asked meixue why she was following me. (: , like what I always do. HAHA
We settled on this shop in the basement selling slippers at $9.90. I always have problems getting footwear because of my size (but I'm thankful for it) and I was super sad that they only had size 8. I compared the size of my shoe with the slipper and I told the saleslady that it wouldn't fit. She didn't believe me and Ms Grace made me take off my shoe. I said that it WOULDN'T FIT, but they persuaded me all the same to take off my socks even. Well, it was confirmed. haha. And we walked off and I was the sadest. Sob sob.
Homeward bound! (:
I mumbled to myself not to mumble ever again- 1:42 AM
