my mummy told me one day
Music- unwell
One day, my mummy told me that...
All religions teach you to be good and tell you you go to paradise after you die if you believe. Except certain ones of course. However, the thing that differentiates Christianity from the rest is that the bible actually tells people what heaven will be like. It also describes what will happen before the day comes. It's hard to deny facts like Noah's ark, especially after it was found.
I remember blogging something about religion way way way back and ryan told me that Noah's ark had been found. So yeah you guys know where I got the info from.
Now now, I'm currently wondering what subjects to plonk in for the subject combi survey. Should I act smart and aim for 12 points? :D Feeling a tad ambitious, I looked at the double deg courses. Only the law/life sciences course interested me. Which means that I need GP/KI, H2 bio, chem and maths or physics. Sigh. I was happily thinking I could take H1 chem based on how inclined I am to it. HOWW!?!?
Anyway, the bottom line is that I don't really like chem and I don't do well in it. So I only have 2 options:
1. Be an arts student and take bio as a contrasting
2. Do chem and hate myself for 2 years and hopefully having chem bio will put me in good steed.
And bloody hell, math or hist? I like both, but I know I won't do well for math. How?
In conclusion,
H2+H3 MEP
H2 Bio
Maths/Chem
Hist/Chem
I really don't know... Luckily it isn't the real option form. But I'm starting to think cos I need to have some goals for me to know what I need to buck up for. Not being kiasu okay? :D
But then again, minoring in psychology or philosophy seems very alluring to me. Sigh.
Anyway, I woke up to an sms today.
oh man rostropovitch died...
Sigh. It's really sad. He just died ytd after intestine cancer (it's in the papers, btw)for a month. I suppose 80 is a nice number. I'll miss him. I loved his Bach. I love it enough to have bought a recording. It's not for loan though, it's freaking ex.
I remember it was hong bin who introduced him to me. I heard his haydn concerto and it was fabulous. He plays with the gusto of a 30 sth, yet with the composure and confidence of someone his age.
Yes, a fine person who stood up for his beliefs and his music. You will be missed, Mr. Rostropovitch.
I mumbled to myself not to mumble ever again- 11:42 PM
